Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception venues are fully wheelchair accessible.
May I bring a guest?
Kindly refer to your invitation for clarification regarding a plus one. If a guest has been reserved in your honor, it will be clearly indicated.
Are children invited?
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be mainly an adult-only celebration with a few adolescents. We hope this allows everyone to relax, unwind, and fully enjoy the evening. Your invitation should clearly specify if your adolescent is invited as a guest. We sincerely appreciate you making advance arrangements.
What will the weather be like?
In September, temperatures are typically in the low 60s to high 70s during the day, with evenings cooling into the 50s. We recommend planning layers for comfort.
What is the dress code?
Black tie optional.
We kindly ask guests to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride. The bridesmaids will be wearing burgundy/merlot.
Floor-length gowns are encouraged. Elegant cocktail attire is also welcome.
Tuxedos are warmly welcomed. A dark suit with a tie or bow tie is also appropriate.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
May I take photos during the celebration?
Unplugged Ceremony: To allow everyone to be fully present, we kindly request no photographs during the ceremony itself. We have professional photographers capturing every moment, and we are happy to share those photos if requested!
Reception: We encourage you to take photos and share your joy. If posting on social media, please use our wedding hashtag #yeungciampa so we can relive the celebration through your lens.
What time should I arrive?
- Saturday, September 26th -
Ceremony: The ceremony at Cathedral of Saint Joseph will begin promptly at 4:00PM. Doors open at 3:30PM. We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking, using the restroom, and seating.
Reception: Cocktail hour at The Society Room of Hartford begins at 6:00PM. Doors open at 5:45PM. Toasts, first dances, and dinner begin at 7:00PM.

Happily Ever After Brunch: Feel free to drop in/out anytime between 10:00AM - 12:30 PM.
What time does the reception conclude?
The reception will conclude at midnight. We look forward to celebrating the entire evening with you on the dance floor.
I am traveling from out of town. Where should I stay?
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Goodwin Hotel and The DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford Downtown, which are both within walking distance of the reception. Please see the "Travel & Hotels" page for our custom booking link to secure your accommodations.
Will transportation be provided?
Given that the hotels that we've reserved are within a 2-5 minute walk from the reception, and that Uber/Lyft/Taxi options are readily available in Hartford, transportation will not be provided. If you are driving, all hotels we've booked, and both the ceremony and reception venues have adequate parking available. Please let us know if you have any specific concerns and we would be happy to assist you in making the proper arrangements.
